What we collect
- Account information: name and email (from sign-in)
- Recipient information: name, email, and optional phone number
- Your letters (text or audio file) and asset hints
- Check-in history and a device token for notifications
- Payments are handled by Google Play; we never receive your card details
How we use it
- To store your letter, track check-ins, and deliver the letter when the conditions are met
- To send check-in reminders
- To operate the service and fix problems
Processors and storage
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud: storage, authentication, server functions
- Resend: reminder and delivery emails
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, but not end-to-end encrypted.
Retention
- Your letter and account data are kept until you ask us to delete them or the service ends.
- After delivery, the letter is kept for a limited period so the recipient can open it, then deleted.
Your rights
- You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time. Please use the data deletion page.
Children
- This service is not directed to children under 13.
