It sleeps quietly until your check-ins stop. Then it reaches the person you chose. One written letter, one voice letter, and hints for finding what you leave behind. Edit them any time before delivery.

TakeCareOfMine is a dead-man’s-switch app. Leave a written letter, a voice letter, and hints on where to find things. If you stop checking in for the period you chose, it’s delivered to the person you named — and not before.
Say it in writing and in your own voice. You can edit or re-record until it’s delivered.
Tap once in the app, or press the button in a reminder email. Going away or in hospital? Vacation mode pauses the timer.
If check-ins stop and the grace period passes, your recipient gets an email with a link to open your letter.
Some things are hard to write. Record them in your own voice — your recipient opens the link and hears you, just as you said it.
Up to 2 minutes · re-record any time, no playback
Write it or record it, choose who receives it, and save. You can edit it any time until it’s delivered.
My dearest Mom, if you are reading this…
Pick a check-in interval (30, 90, 180 or 365 days). You’ll get reminders 7, 3 and 1 day before it’s due, and a daily email for 30 more days after.
If there’s still no response, your recipient receives an email with a link where they can read your text or play your voice. Nothing is sent before that.
The app is $9.99 on Google Play, plus a $7.99 yearly renewal to keep your letter stored and ready to deliver. The price shown on Google Play is what you pay, and it may vary by country.
No. You get reminders 7, 3 and 1 day before the deadline, and a daily email for 30 days after it. Only if there’s no response through all of that is the letter delivered.
Turn on vacation mode in Settings to pause the countdown for the period you choose.
No. The sender can’t play a recording back. If you’re not happy with it, you can record it again any time before delivery. Only your recipient can listen to it.
Yes. Until they are delivered you can edit, re-record or delete them, and update your recipient’s contact details. Once delivered, it can’t be undone.
No. It’s a personal letter. Property and inheritance must follow the legal process in your country.
Yes in transit and at rest (Google Cloud), but not end-to-end. Don’t write passwords or private keys in the letter — just say where they can be found.
We remind you before it renews, and after it ends you get 90 more days of grace. Renew or check in during that time and nothing changes; if there is still no response, your letter is delivered. If you don’t want that, cancel and delete your letter.
We’ll give 12 months’ notice, let you download your letter, and deliver any letter whose conditions are already met before closing.
Follow the steps on the data deletion page. We’ll delete your letter, recipient details and check-in history, and nothing will be delivered.
